Carrying the name of the celebrity chef and restaurateur, the Wolfgang Puck BC0BR020 Heavy-Duty Convection Toaster Oven has a lot of expectations to meet. And indeed, it does not disappoint. With this single appliance, you can bake, broil, and toast. It also has a rotisserie for cooking meats on a spit in a slow turn that crusts the skin and traps all the juice and flavors inside.
As if to mirror the now silver-haired Puck, the oven comes in stainless steel, lending it an elegance making it more than worthy to stand alongside other modern and stylish kitchen appliances and tools. Its design is quite simple, which means it can be at home in both traditional and contemporary kitchens, whether tiled with glass mosaic or ceramics, or floored with wood or stone.
There are three dials on the control panel of the machine, mounted on its left side. One of the dials is for choosing the desired function —bake, broil, toast, or convection bake; another for setting the temperature level; and a third for choosing the cooking time, which allows you to have the oven turn itself off within a period as long as one hour.
Beside the control panel is a large glass door that gives you a plain and clear view of the food cooking inside. Through it, you can watch your chicken meat transform from pale white to golden brown. When cooking is done, open the door with the towel-rack style rod handle that spans its entire width. Inside the oven is a 22-liter capacity cooking chamber. For cleaning convenience, it is coated with a non-stick material.
