Toastess TTO652 Toaster Convection Oven
Finished in stainless steel, the Toastess TTO652 Toaster Convection Oven makes a gleaming addition to your kitchen countertop, easily blending with most of your other kitchen appliances. Sporting soft touch digital control buttons and a backlit digital LCD display screen indicating various data, it gives the impression that it is a modern kitchen tool that can make your work a lot easier. And indeed, it does.
The TTO652 features five functions –bake, broil, defrost, toast, and convection bake. Choosing any of these functions is as easy a pushing a button on the control panel to the left of the cooking chamber. In addition to these, there are also buttons for setting cooking time and temperature, as well as for switching the turntable and keeping food warm. Of course there are also the start and stop buttons.
The different cooking functions allow you to choose which is most suitable for the food you wish to cook. You can bake cookies and cakes, broil pork chops, toast breads and bagels, or convection bake pizza and lasagna. When using the last, a fan inside the oven comes alive to circulate the heated air within the oven resulting in an even cooking and fast cooking time.
With the timer button, you can pre-set your cooking time according to the suggestion of your recipe book. This can be as long as 99 minutes. When cooking is done, the oven automatically shuts off and sounds an audible alarm to let you know. Of course, if you would rather not use the timer, simply push the start button and monitor the food as it cooks through the large clear glass door.
Inside the oven is a pizza carousel that can hold a 12-inch pizza. When it is turned on, it rotates the pizza for an even cooking on all sides. The walls consist of non-stick material making it easy to clean any greasy food particles that may be left behind while cooking.
In addition to the pizza carousel, the Toastess TTO6532 Toaster Convection Oven comes with two wire racks, a baking pan which can also be used for broiling, a broiling drip tray, and a crumb tray.
