Hamilton Beach 31207 Convection Toaster Oven Broiler

Finished with a black body, a silver control panel, and large glass door, the Hamilton Beach 31207 Convection Toaster Oven Broiler is an attractive addition to your kitchen counter. Given these colors, it can seamlessly blend with your other appliances and gadgets. And with its simple and elegant design, it will not clash with most decors. With a width of approximately 16.5 inches and depth of 21, the oven has a footprint of roughly 2.5 square feet and thus will not crowd out your blender, coffee maker, or any other kitchen tool. The oven’s height is a shade over 12.5 inches.
The Hamilton Beach 31207 has ample room for baking a 12-inch pizza, or broiling a 7.5-pound chicken, or toasting six slices of bread. You can use these functions either with or without the oven’s convection feature. For an even distribution of heat and thus a uniform cooking of your food throughout with no burnt or undercooked portions, however, you should use convection. In addition to this, use of convection results in either in faster cooking time or lower oven temperatures. As a rule, you can cook in 25% less time, or 25% lower temperature.
The interior of the oven is lined with a non-stick material that makes cleaning food particles that are splattered on them an easy task. And to catch any drips from the food, a slide-out crumb tray is provided with the oven. In addition to this, a bake pan and broil grid are also included.
Three control knobs are mounted on the control panel. The top knob is used for setting temperature levels which ranges from 200° to 450°F. The middle knob is for choosing bake, broil, toast, and convection settings. Cooking time is set using the bottom knob. For its auto shut-off function, you can set it up to 30 minutes. If your food’s suggested cook time is beyond that, you can turn the knob to a stay on setting. The food is clearly visible through the glass door so you can check it without opening the oven.
