Frigidaire FPCO06D7MS Professional Convection Toaster Oven
Equipped with two halogen and two quartz heating elements, pre-heating and cooking is faster with the Frigidaire FPCO06D7MS Professional Convection Toaster Oven compared to regular and even other convection ovens. Dubbed Rapid Infrared Cooking Technology, the elements immediately heat the food in the oven instead of the air surrounding it.
An easy-to-read 2″ x 2½” Pro-Select LCD display indicates the eight different functions of the oven along with data relevant to the function chosen. For instance, if you choose toast, the darkness set and the number of slices are also displayed. In addition to toast, the other functions are bagel, bake, broil, cookies, pizza, reheat, and warm. These functions are pre-set, which means that if you are not sure at what temperature and how long should you bake your pizza the machine will take care of it.
Functions are set with a large dial immediately below the LCD display. Right beside it is a button labeled “convection” for activating the fans to circulate hot air inside the oven. Another set of buttons and dial further below allows you to override pre-set temperatures and set your own between 150 to 450°F, as well as cooking times.
A large glass door allows you to see into the oven and monitor the food inside. With three slots for the cooking rack that comes with the oven, you can move your food higher if you want to crust its upper surface, or lower if you want to cook it from below. The oven’s interior surface is lined with a non-stick material making it easy to remove any food scraps splattered on it while cooking. With a capacity of 0.7 cubic feet, it can accommodate a 12-inch pizza or medium size chicken. For toasting, it can hold up to six slices of bread.
In addition to the cooking rack, a bake pan and a crumb tray are also included.
Finished in stainless steel with a very functional design, the Frigidaire FPCO06D7MS Professional Convection Toaster Oven blends well with most modern appliances. It measures approximately 18″ wide, 12″ high, and 14″ deep.
