With its small and compact frame, the Euro-Pro TO31 Digital Convection Toaster Oven occupies only a small portion of real estate and thus fits into most kitchen counters including those in small condos and apartments. In spite of this, its interior is roomy enough to accommodate a 12-inch pizza or a whole medium-sized chicken. Indeed, it has a capacity of 21 liters.
With its digital control buttons mounted on an oval control panel to the left of the machine, you can adjust the temperature and time settings to the precise level you desire. You also use them to choose the oven functions you want. With a single push on a button, you can bake pizza, broil chicken, defrost stone-hard frozen meat, toast slices of bread, or warm leftover foods.
The Euro-Pro TO31 has a maximum temperature setting of 450°F, which is sufficiently hot for most cooking including baking pizza, lasagna, and macaroni; roasting chicken, pork, and potatoes; and broiling pork chops, hamburgers, and kebabs. With a 90-minute timer, you do not have to sit beside the oven continually peering through its wide glass window to check if the food is ready. Simply set the recommended cooking time, forget about it, and wait for the bell to chime. With 1,500 watts of heating power, you are assured that there is enough heat to cook your food quickly, and with its convection function, evenly without any over- or undercooked portions. You can, however, opt to use the stay on function and monitor the food if you are not sure of its cooking time.
The oven comes with a rotisserie kit for your red and white meats, a chrome wire rack for toasting slices of breads and holding casseroles, an enamel bake tray for pizzas and bagels, a crumb tray for catching bread crumbs and drippings from roasting meats, and a rack remover so you need not touch the rack while it is hot.
