Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven Broiler

Featuring a handsome combination of brushed chrome body, clear glass encased in a black frame, and a smart-looking black control panel that looks more like the controls of a sophisticated computer hardware than that of a kitchen appliance, the Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven Broiler definitely adds character to any kitchen.
The control does not stop at looking good. With its touchpad buttons, it allows you to set the oven to bake, toast, broil, and reheat your favorite foods, as well as thaw stone hard meat, fowl, or fish from the freezer in amatter of minutes. The timer display on the control panel doubles as a function display.
With its convection function, food, whether steak, fish, pizza, or cake, is cooked about 25 to 30% faster than in conventional ovens. Its capacity of 0.5 cu. ft. allows you to cook dinner for a family of 4 – 6. And since it is durable enough to use every day, it can save you a good deal on your electric bills as it is far more fuel-efficient than your large kitchen oven.
Equipped with Cuisinart’s trademarked Exact Heat Sensor, you can set the desired cooking function and temperature and leave the machine to determine how long it should cook. Of course, you need not use this feature if you would rather set the cooking time yourself. You can, instead, use the timer to alert you when cooking is done.
Toasting of bread or bagel, although preprogrammed for medium toasting, can be reset for lighter or darker toasts. It is big enough to hold up to six slices of bread.
An oven rack and a removable crumb tray are standard accessories of the oven. It also comes with detailed operating instructions and a recipe booklet.
The oven measures 17 ½” x 13 ½” x 9 ½”, and weighs 20.4 lbs.
