Cooking Whole Chicken in a Convection Oven

Chicken has been eaten for almost 3,000 years. It can be cooked in various ways –fried, stewed, grilled, broiled, or roasted. Different spices can be used to flavor it, and it can be cooked over a stove or in an oven. This could be a conventional, microwave, or convection oven. You can start by preparing the things you need –baking pan, seasoning salt, pepper, rosemary, celery, onion, and half a lemon. When these are ready, get your chicken from the fridge and wash it under cool running water in the sink. Be sure the giblets are taken out of the chicken.
Cut the onion into four pieces, and break the celery also into four pieces. Insert these, along with the lemon inside the chicken. Sprinkle salt and rosemary for added flavor. Switch your convection on and turn the appropriate dial, or push the button, until the temperature is set to 375°. Place the chicken inside the oven once this temperature level is reached.
Leave the chicken cooking in the convection oven at 15 minutes for each pound. If, for instance, your chicken weighs 3 pounds, you need to cook it for 45 minutes. Check the chicken 15 minutes before your planned cooking time. Using the given example, you should take a look inside the oven at 30 minutes. The chicken should have turned into a nice golden brown. Continue checking until the end of your cooking time to avoid overcooking.
When done, take the chicken out of the oven doing so carefully to avoid getting burned. Remove the celery and the lemon, transfer the chicken to a nice dish, put some garnishing, and enjoy your dinner.
